rick6343 Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I'm a bit late with this, but here's the first one I finished in 2010, back on January 1! It's AMT's 1990s-tool '57 Corvette, built as a fictitious SCCA racer. I filled the bumper mounting holes and painted it Testors Hemi Orange and black. The engine is box stock, save for the 4-speed transmission (replacing the kit 3-speed) and the exhaust pipes cut short of the mufflers and bent outwards. Wheels came from the MPC '69 Olds 442. The interior got a styrene tube roll bar, flocking, and auxiliary gauges. Decals are from the spares box. Comments welcome,
