What do you guy's use as plaster?

what do you guys use as plaster for platic models/resin id like to make a custom hood. also where can i pick it up can i get stuff like this at home depot or should i go to my local hobby store?

I don't believe anyone here uses plaster. Maybe you mean PLASTIC? Sheets and different shapes can be had most readily at a Hobby shop under the name Evergreen & Plastruct.

Do you mean putty, as for body filler and shaping?

If so, most of the guys here will tell you to buy two-part putty that should be blended together, since the one-part tends to shrink over time.

i use body icing which is a 2 part mix and you can get at most auto paint supply stores. about the same as bondo just a little thinner. works well for me.

My favorite is Bondo 801, putty with hardener, it dries in minutes and doesnt shrink. I love the stuff!! Available at most good Auto Parts Stores everywhere!
