How do you guys make a fuel block?

I'm looking for thoughts and experiences on the best way to make one of these. It amazes me that nobody offers it in the aftermarket! I'd love to see examples, too.

I use a piece of square Evergreen rod, drill the appropriate number of holes, mount to the firewall or fender well, and glue in the fuel lines. I've learned through trial and error that it's better to drill the holes before cutting the piece to length. Sometimes I paint them and other times cover with BMF.

I've ordered some Plastruct hex rod in a variety of sizes and plan on trying it out.

Same here. That ones fairly easy to make using spare styrene bits and appropriate holes drilled.
