berr13 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Can anyone suggest a source for a simple "Doug's headers" decal? For a project I'm working on I need the standard, upper case "Doug's headers", or "Headers by Doug", in white, 1/25th scale. I have one set from the Revell Royal Pontiac '66 GTO, but I'd prefer Slixx if someone knows of something available. I've looked at the Slixx online catalog, but between my tired old eyes and sorry computer monitor, I can't find anything. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, believe me...
ra7c7er Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Here you go Part #1469-DHFC from Slixx http://www.slixx.com/s1469.htm?id=2780 Looks like Slixx has them in white w/blue outline script Doug's Headers and gold all caps DOUG'S HEADERS. I did not see one on slixx website saying Headers by Doug or any other color combinations. Edited January 23, 2011 by ra7c7er

I just finished a Rat Packer Chevy II Nova. I used the 'Chevy 2 Much' decal set from Slixx which has the Doug's Headers in a 'gold leaf' font. They look great.... jbwelda Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 i just ran across a white dougs headers pair of decals while looking for other stuff. these are small, probably half inch by half inch, white and kind of dirty. pm me if you want em and i will cut them out and send them to you. they may require a few hours in the sun to bleach them out and probably need to be coated with decal preservative as they look to be pretty old. they are very plain, no gold leaf or anything like that, just white lettering.
