My daughter bought me a Xanavi Nismo Z by Tamiya for xmas. The kit came with pre cut masking for windshield so that the trim can be painted. The paint was Krylon and seemed to burn through the masking. I guess I'll have to get my daughter to go down to the shop where she bought it and try to get them to order a new tree. We live 2 1/2 hrs apart and my city does not carry Tamiya. Anyways, heres my attempt. The rear of the body is not painted silver yet and debating on that just because the red turned out so good. I am no expert and dont use airbrush, just a general hobbyist who has been doing models for 25 years using nothing but bottle paint and spray bombs.

I thought about checking some polishes out there. Its a small city with not much to choose from out here. Do I risk painting the other half silver? I have had terrible luck with paint recently due to fish eyes. The Krylon seems to work well without a primer. I guess as long as I use the same brand, it should work. Just a thought about the decals not matching with color scares me. Would it look good in all red and just put on the racing decals?
