crazyjim
Here's my version of Revell's '68 Dodge Dart Hemi. It's finished with HOK solar silver basecoat covered in brandywine candy and then several coats of Tamiya TS65 pearl clear. After drying it was rubbed with Novus #3 and finally finished with The Treatment Model Car Wax. Big & little Pegasus chrome T's with their disc brakes behind. I used the hemi with its' headers but adjusted the 440 exhaust so that I have pipes all the way to the rear ending with polished aluminum tips. The engine is wired and plumbed - first time I put in heater hoses. Do you like the ball on the antenna? That was a big deal in late '60s around Chicago. I think it was called a superball. High octane
That Dart came out lookin' really good Jim. Weren't the Hemi Darts heater delete? I still have a couple of those antenna balls in yellow with Mooneyes on them.
crazyjim
Thanks guys. Gotta have a heater. It's supposed to be a street car - that's why I went with the full exhaust. Haven't seen the ball for many, many years, but back then you had to have one on the antenna or the car didn't leave home.
