John Pol Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Has anybody have done a how to on brake lines and how to tie to the chassic. And also has anybody done a how to for a electric fuel pump, regulator. And also how too on parrachute lines I know are different over the years.I`m more interested in the 60`s and 70`s. John Pol
Mark Brown Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Not sure if this is what you have in mind, but here's a Magnaflow (now Magnafuel) ProStar 500 pump and regulator I made a couple years ago. Not a really difficult scratchbuilding project.
John Pol Posted January 27, 2011 Author Posted January 27, 2011 Thats something I`m looking for thanks. John Pol
jbwelda Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 as for holding the lines to the chassis, one thing that works out nicely is to figure out the mount points you want to use and then drill a small hole there. then run a loop of very thin wire, like detail master detail wire, around the brake/fuel line and up through the hole. hold it taught and apply some superglue and maybe accelerator to the hidden area the wire comes up through, and youre golden.
