Dr. Cranky Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 We are getting closer . . . http://www.youtube.com/user/damncranky666?feature=mhum
Paul Payne Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Cranky, we too have a chihuahua named Emma- sweetest little pup you could want- a real eye roller! Keeps our toy poodle Abbie company- they are best buds! By the way, can't wait to see the new project!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 We've always had them in our family. They are a bit temperamental at times, but they are cute too . . . Here's the final installment before Doctor Cranky reveals his new build in raw styrene . . .
Dr. Cranky Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 LOL, you know how it ended up like this? Every time I thought I would build a tank or a Gundam or something like that I would get the idea to build another Post Apocalypse vehicle and I would rob parts from the kits, and then suddenly I realized how many kits I had ruined. Well, they are not really ruined, they've just become part of Doctor Cranky's Lab-RAT-ory's styrene morgue!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 It's too late to turn back now, the fun is on-going!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Thanks, Joe. This one is coming together well and pretty quick too! Stay tuned in for more.

Jantrix Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Boy remember when Cranky used to post pictures?
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Oh yes, blame technology. I'm still taking pictures . . .
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Here are a few pics to keep your enjoyment at a maximum! LOL. This is Warhammer 40K meets Revell's 2009 Challenger. Indeed, I think they make a good match . . . If you are a Zombie and you see this one coming, you better get out of the way! Stay tuned in for more . . . .
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Thanks, Jose . . . I just finished shooting some primer . . . stay tuned in for more. Plastikote grey primer all the way!
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Here are all the parts of this build in primer . . . Plastikote all the way . . . I really like the uniformity that primer brings the styrene . . . a great canvas awaits! One more: Believe it or not, those are all the parts that will need to be painted and weathered . . .
made007 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 where did you get the skull on the cannon? i ilke that, its a nice touch
Dr. Cranky Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 I think it came in a Warhammer 40K Chaos Defiler kit. One kit from Warhammer 40K will give you lots of great bits. They are expensive, but the right kit, like the Defiler, will go a long ways! I've always wanted to build a Mini Cooper with the legs of the Defiler, but then again, I've already done such a thing in another build . . . Just keep the imagination juices (Cranky Juice!) flowing!
