And, FYI, I'm one of those who thinks the magazine is just fine, even if the cover date is way off the calendar date. I happen to think the main competition is boring. Looking forward to it.

I still think the cover date is superfluous and 75% of the "controversy" could be eliminated by deleting reference to a date on the issue.

Personally, I think it would be a hoot to label all 9 issues as "December 2011" and just go by the numbers.

After all, those other guys are ahead of schedule; some magazines are several months ahead. Who cares when all 9 issues arrive or what they say on the cover? As long as subscribers get the 9 or 18 issues they pay for, it's 'value received.'

I think that would be a good thing too. Many small magazines that have release issues eliminate dates.

Well the problem is simple....when the value is so good it is quite hard to Jones for 3 months..and the other keeps plopping in with regularity...I read all of them front to back...it gets old having to read SA when I really want my MCM.....and I just got and finished #154 today...the content is tops :P;)
