Does anyone have any information on the actual lowboy that AMT used to make the one in their kit? Rumor has it that it's a 1970's era Loadcraft, but I'm not totally sure on that. What's the load capacity of it (25t, 50t, etc.)? I've searched the Forum, but I couldn't find much on the actual trailer.

Thanks.

I don't know anything about your question on the brand and tons.

I do Know they hold the old AMT Dozers and look right and it is a tri axle so it looks good with

any heavy equipment on it.

It is also a good kit to build into a break away lowboy or a super size lowboy.

Hope this helps.

What do you plan on doing with it.

Jim, I don't know very much on that kit either, other than you are correct that it is a Loadcraft trailer. I've seen a few of the 70s issues on ebay that have Loadcraft on the box.

Thanks for the answers, guys. I appreciate it.

As for plans for it, other than build it, paint it, & put it on the shelf; no real plans right now.

Is that the data plate I see near the front of the curb-side of the trailer, just ahead of the 'T51' marking?

Thanks for the pix!
