Tony T Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I got this a couple of years ago off eBay with a Union VW Gasser and a trailer, both built up. I rebuilt the Gasser a while ago, and this wagon was hanging around my bench since then. Since I had been working on a 66 Nova rebuild, I dug this one out, cleaned it up, repainted the interior from gloss red to flat blue, left the engine out, and glued the hood shut (metal front axle, 4 promo like locator posts for the body to chassis join) so it is a curbside. Grabbed a set of tires and Cragar wheels from the parts box, and here is a nice support vehicle. I need to fashion a trailer hitch, but another time...so, I have another one off the bench that has been languishing for a while...
Sixties Sam Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Nice parts hauler for the garage in the background! Clean and simple build - looks good! Great looking diorama, too. Sam
Tony T Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Thanks, Sam! I like the dio for a background...easy to set up! Thanks, Charlie!
GTMust Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I've got a couple of these wagons to build. Nice job on yours, Tony.... I like the parts chaser concept. The dio really sets the stage for your builds very nicely. Tony
