Dr. Cranky Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 Although it's not much fun to watch glue dry, I am making progress on the base . . . stay tuned in for more progress.
hoopty388 Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Here's some more progress tonight: The interior is supposed to be trashed, but also frequented by someone who is up to no good! with all those liquor bottles and magazines, are you sure it wasn't me in there?
Mooneyzs Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Cranky... Your work amazes me my friend. This thing looks great. Keep up the great work. I love the target under the hood and how you made it with gun shots thru it
ajulia Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Hello there Doc' You are truly someone many can look up to in our world of scale building!! Keep on wit the keepin on!! Love the vids too!! Too funny with the lab coat!!
Dr. Cranky Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Making slow progress, and here's a little bit of what I'm doing:
David G. Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 As always, excellent work! You really have an eye for distressed metal and junk. David G.
pepperdrumstix Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I like where this is going. One fast question--where's the bullet holes on the sides of the car? Don't know of many shot up cars that had un-shot sides. I will watch this because I have heard of the salt method but not the salt and hairspray method. Must have missed one of your builds that used that method. I like the idea of the black base coat to paint over. I had used silver but it had no shadows or contrast in the weathering. Thanks DR.C for giving us a look into your world of styrene and talent. I heard the door creak but it opens wide to let us in. Patrick M
Dr. Cranky Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011  I guess all the shooters respected the bullseye? But that didn't spare the rear trunk lid . . . somewhat. :P
