Railfreak78 Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I'm making a close to stock maybe semi custom out of the 4 door Dukes of Hazzard MPC/Round 2 kit. Paint is Duplicolor Chrysler Charcoal Grey Metallic. I will be using different tires and wheels as this came with wide tires and deep wheels all the way around. More soon!
diymirage Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 looks good so far id say the paint looks too good to be called a stock 77 car...maybe a recent resto ? i would suggest doing a few nice washes on the front chrome to make it looks a little more realistic have you decided on rolling stock yet ? with a paint like that it almost has to be late model mudstank bullit rims as for the deep steelies, id be more then happy to take them off your hands
spkgibson Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Looks great, Now contact Kevin on here to get the stock wheels from him, That would really set it off, Have fun foiling that monster, It took me 12 hours to foil my yellow one.
Railfreak78 Posted February 25, 2011 Author Posted February 25, 2011 Here is an update. I decided to go with burgandy for the interior. Parts box wheels, I also went with blue for the engine as my 76 had a blue motor. I have a lot of detail to do so it is not done. Enjoy.
charlie8575 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Nice color combination. Looks good so far. Charlie Larkin
