Lyle, please excuse my nievety, but what makes it a CABRIOLET, as opposed to just a roadster? Is it the fact that the roof(at least the rear of it) extends down INTO the body? I'da just called it a roadster or a convertable. Thanks.:D:);)

Roadsters do not have crank-up windows, George. They often have side curtains. Cabriolet and convertible or convertible coupe are all the same thing and they have crank-up windows. A touring car or Phaeton is the same as a roadster but with 2 seats, 3 or 4 doors - no side windows! A convertible sedan is the crank-up window version of the touring.

And despite what Mercedes marketing calls it a coupe can not have 4 doors!!! B)

In addition to the above info, the '32 Ford cabriolet has a FIXED windshield frame, as opposed to the thin, bolt-on roadster frame. The cabriolet roof is a lift-off item. It is entirely different than a fold-down roadster canvas top. Roll-up windows (on the 1:1) have a chrome frame around them. Door handles are below the beltline. '32 Ford cabriolets came standard with a rumble seat and cowl lights.

This resin body is pretty much stock, but is meant to be used with the 5-window street rod interior pieces.
