Bruno Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 This is an older build, one of the first I did when I came back into the hobby a few years ago. It's the AMT kit, mostly box stock, except for the wheels and tires and some added wires.

kyledr330 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 Very cool car Bruno! I like the paint color also.
redknight Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 That is an excellent build! Great color choice and stance.
Reeves Racing Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 That is one to be proud of for sure. To me that IS the color a 70 SS Chevelle should be. It looks perfect.
speedy5963 Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 looks really nice, I'm looking forward to building one of these soon!
Guest Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 (edited) Beautiful work Bruno. Is that black or a dark green? Did you use one or two sets of stripes? I did mine in black and used 2 sets of white stripes, plus the kit magnum wheels. I also used the chassis from AMT's 69 Olds. Great work sir! Edited March 5, 2011 by midnightprowler
oldscool Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 That is a beautiful Chevelle . Thumbs up to you for having a bottom radiator hose. grumpy gus
Daniel Peterson Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Am I the only one who 1) forgot how great the lines were on the '70 Chevelle and 2) how much a set of polished Centerlines can do for a car? Very nice build!!
Reeves Racing Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 I guess some members don't realize that it is rude to post pictures of their builds in someone else's Under Glass thread.
Hakan ERYILMAZ Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Süperb work.I like paint and decal works.Congrats.
Bruno Posted March 7, 2011 Author Posted March 7, 2011 Thanks everyone! Beautiful work Bruno. Is that black or a dark green? Did you use one or two sets of stripes? I did mine in black and used 2 sets of white stripes, plus the kit magnum wheels. I also used the chassis from AMT's 69 Olds. Great work sir! It's dark green with green interior. It's the stripes from the kit, only one set. I'm also thinking on using the '69 Olds chassis to build a '69 Chevelle
Modellpularn Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Very nice! I like the color too. It does fit the car. But (almost) any color looks good on a Chevelle SS 396/454.
W117monte Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Beautiful! Kudos for making the parking/turn signals clear instead of orange
Leonidas Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Beautiful work Bruno. The colour is amazing, and the wheels match it perfectly. Great stuff!
