I really gotta stop starting like 5 kits, and just do one at a time from here on out.

I do have a 55 Chev Pro Street, that is almost done, that I lost interest in. A 62 Impala Pro Street, that needs some work, and a 62 Catalina, that just needs foiling. I want to do the foiling on the Poncho on a really good day.

So here is the 65 GTO I want to get to first. I plan on painting the car a blue metallic, with white seats, white door panels, and black steering wheel and dash, with the wood grain insert, and flocked carpet. It has a bit of Pro Street look to it, without being tubbed. I added a spare 421 SD engine I got out of my parts bin.

Tom, this is STILL a decent kit, plus it's the ONLY 65 we got. IF you notice, the floor is a LITTLE shallow and IF it bothers you (it did me) just scribe around the inside edges with an exacto knife(No#11 blade) remove the old floor and just glue a flat sheet of plastic onto the bottom of the inteior bucket. it'll drop it enough to look better. it really is just a small thing, but hey, I noticed it. Go figger....:( :(;)

Added some detail to the 421. I added some aluminum breathers from Pro Tech, and some MAD wires, and some velocity stacks. Still have to paint the trans though.

I also got some color on the body too. You have to excuse my pics as my camera is not the best. Painted with Tamiya deep Metallic Blue # TS-53. This color is the best gloss I painted thus far. I will not be clearing the GTO. I plan on starting the BMF in the morning.

Also got the interior almost finished. Still have to touch up on the wood grain dash insert, and gauges, and flock the floor, before it is finished.
