I have tried looking on here to see how everyone is doing plug wires and I have a few questions.

I have bought 30 gauge wire and am ready to put it on my engines. What to I attach it with? I have tried two part epoxy, medium ca and model glue. Nothing works!! What am i doing wrong or can someone explain the procedure? Pics or a video of the process would be fantastic!

Thanks,

Justin

I just drill a hole and press it in...a dab of CA will hold it in :D:unsure:

You might try wiping the wire with Alcohol, to get any residue from the manufacturing process off of the casing then try CA glue. I prefer the gel, It work's for me.

CA will not work on certain type wire casing. It just runs off and it won't adhere to plastic. I can't remember which type it is but we had some where I used to work untill I retired from there and all I do now is build models. HA!!!! I wish.

But it will stick to the core wire :P:D

I drill holes in the head and then insert a piece of the vinyl jacket cover from telephone wire (black, red, green, yellow). The wire is stripped out first. The jacket is forced into each hole. The ignition wire then slides into the jacket. Sometime I'll use a drop of Micro Krystal Klear on the spot where the wire goes into the jacket.

I use CA glue to glue the wires into the distributor.

Im having the same problem :/ I cant find wires small enough except 28gauge.

I bought some 30 gauge wrapping wire from radio shack, i think it's like 3.99 for 50 ft, comes in red, white, and blue. very easy to work with too.
