Carmikeman Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 not another one can someboby tell me a clearcoat that is compatable with Alclad? tried Dupli-Color can stuff and it is way too strong. turned it kind of a gunmetal grey. nice looking effect but not the one i'm going for. nearest hobby shop is in Memphis and i won't go down there till this weekend. thanks, Jim
roadhawg Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 ANY clearcoat is going to diminish the look of Alclad. Sorry....
935k3 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 FUTURE, it's the safest non reactive clear their is. On small parts it can be applied with a Q-Tip. It is about the only clear that lays over without chemically reacting with what is under it. It can be easily stripped with ammonia or Windex.
Carmikeman Posted March 23, 2011 Author Posted March 23, 2011 that's what i was affraid of. thank you fellas
