well fellas, this will be my last post on this forum because i have had enough of the fighting going on!!! i joined this forum in Febuary for the fact that i don't have a club that i can join or shows to go to or, even a hobbyshop that i can frequent. don't get me wrong, i have met some very nice people on here and will still watch Dr. Cranky and his madcap hi-jinks. to all of the people that do make this a great forum, Thank you! for those that don't, LEAVE! also, thank you mr. Gregg and mr. HarryP for making the forum possible. i will just keep modeling in my own little world as i have been for 30 yrs. it's not that i get offended easy. it take alot to make me mad even but, to see some of the insanity on this forum just makes me sick to my stomach! thanks for reading guys whether you care or not. one tip on the airbrush subject: get in good with your local bodyshop if you want to try automotive paint! one thing though, alot of places are getting away from laquer paint. (states are starting to treat laquer like trans-fat in our food.) i use both airbrush and spray cans. spraycans are fine if all your going to do are paintjobs but, if you want good detail with weathering or pinpoint areas, an airbrush is the only way to go.

i personally do not know Dr. Cranky but, I would like to personally thank him for the time hes takes to make me chuckle a little bit. this man thoroughly enjoys what he is doing and it shows by the care he takes in his model building and his videos. he does it to entertain us because he does care for his fello man, even in some strange manner seriously guys, lighten up! we are only here for one life and by the looks of things to come, we're gonna need all the laughter we can muster.

no, this is hand drawn and colored. the drawing is larger than a scanner so, i had to scan each half and photoshop it back together. he is mostly into comic type stuff but his brother is a big car restorer and this is a tribute kinda

yes they do share the same wheelbase. 116' wheelbase on both.

that is a great build! i know where there is an old cable cat about that size in the weeds.
