Well this is my forst time posting on this site...

I used to build when I was a kid and now I have more money and some time I wanted to start again..

I pick a simple race car to start.. Epson NSX..

hey bud, welcome to the forum and back to the hobby.

your off to a good start. ill be looking forward to more progress on this. keep up the great work :)

Nice start. I started that one too but i was not happy with the blue I mixed so I quit for now. Anybody a know a good blue to use on this one. It has a purplish tint to it. I mixed Tamiya TS-44 Brilliant Blue and TS-57 Blue Violet. I mixed it in the wrong order. I think I shoulld have started with the Ts-57 then add the blue, I went the other way.

I need to pick up one of these kits just for the rims and wheels...LOL they are identical to what I have on my real car and want to do a build of it :(

Welcome back to the hobby :D You are doing a great job and i will be watching this build. I just started back into the hobby after a 15yr break and I'm having a blast. See if there is a IPMS chapter near you, great resource.

Put the first coat on the car today. Still have to do the bottom rear. I think the color is ok. Still could be more purple.

Beautiful work; I built this kit several years ago for a friend, but it was the Avex Group sponsored version. Most of the entire body was decals. I will NEVER build that version again! It came out nicely, but I spent more time on decaling than building the kit.
