Well, that sounds very interesting! Custom Trucks are rarely seen, in 1:1 scale and in smaller scale also... I'm can't wait to see the pictures of it. And thanks for the comment, Robert!

I painted lots of chassis parts with gloss black, hopefully tomorrow I can get some more colors on those parts, then I'll post few pics. I also did some test fitting to those wheels, they fit fine and look good like that. I'm going to paint those bolts with black. And I glued that part to the engine, shown in the last picture (can't just remember, what is it). Added some black wash to it, to make it look bit greasy and dirty.

Thanks, Brett! I have one Peterbilt too, it's going to be Drag Racer, needs to find turbos which are big enough. :D Maybe Custom-Peterbilt would be really nice too, but I'm going to build mine from glue bomb, so it's easier to do flat black "Bat Racer"...

I've painted and installed those rear axles. I don't know why, but I painted them before assembling axle halves together. But luckily they fit nicely together, and that little seam, what left there, can't be seen very well from Finished build.

Yesterday I glued tires and wheels together. It wasn't easy job, everything else has been quite easy to install, but those rear tires and wheels were really tricky. I managed to get everything fit allright anyway. Luckily front tires and wheels were easy to get together.

Progress for today. I installed front shocks, and some other parts to the chassis, and painted all of those bolts and nuts with silver, just to make them look more realistic. Then I installed those tires&wheels, they fit pretty nicely, and all of them touch the ground. I think it looks pretty good, but what you guys think?

Thanks Liam! I like that color choice too, it fits nicely with this black frame. Next step is waxing the cab, hopefully it will be very shiny when finished. :) Engine detailing and interior are the next things in line too...

Engine is now ready to be mounted, needs to install two more parts to the frame, before I can install that engine. I'm not sure, am I going to display this with the hood closed, or open. I've also painted the propeller shaft.

Anyway, I have built this engine with no pressure or stress, it's not as nice as it could be, but I'm pretty happy about it.

Engine is installed to the frame. It didn't fit very well there, but I finally managed to get it glued nicely. I guess there's no way to take it away anymore without a saw. Hopefully I can finish waxing the cab and front clip tomorrow.

The cab is waxed now, and it turned out pretty good. Next I'm going to move on and wax that front end too, and of course that frame needs some work too. Interior should be finished in a couple of days too...

Thanks Tim!

This Truck will be Finished soon, since I'm gonna get it to ModelCarContest on the next thursday. So today I took it back on the bench, and the interior is now finished. I painted that wooden part of the dash again, and cauges are gloss black. Interior was very simple overall, but actually it looks pretty good, when completed. Also added some black wash on the grille, and installed it on the place. Body is painted flat black from inside too, so I'm getting ready for installing glass parts, and then this thing is starting to come togheter. Fuel tanks are stripped off from the chrome plating, and after a bit of sanding, they are ready for silver paint.

Little paint touches will be added to the interior, before gluing it to the body.

Those body colored tanks (can't remember what tanks they are...), are cleared now. I could install them soon, but gas tanks aren't still ready, and I can't install the cab because of that. But hopefully soon, I can. B)

Thanks both! These are fun to build, but really big. I don't know, where I put this when it gets finished...

...Oh yeah, this should be finished by tomorrow. I have installed the interior to that cab, which is installed to the frame. All I have to do is final assembly, I hope everything goes alright.
