Hey there fellow builders,

I am looking at trying to acquire a C15 Caterpillar engine in a 1/24 or 1/25 scale to fit into my Italeri 378 Long Hauler. Any advice or links to a online source that I could order a resin molding?

Thanks

JSD

Jared,

I know Tim will jump in here with the definitive answer, likely as I enter this reply! I think I remember reading that Jamie at Mo'luminum offers a resin C15. Here's a link to Tim's website; it appears you need to contact Jamie at jlrahmo@aol.com.

May I make a suggestion? Unless you're building for a contest or other event that requires that accuracy, how about spraying that Detroit Diesel with CAT yellow paint, like I did with my Pete 377? Krylon sells it for about $6 US, plus you don't have to concern youself with custom fabrication of the induction, exhaust, and cooling systems.

Welcome to the forum!

Melbourne Model Truck Accessories is back up. Evan lists the 3406E & the C15 as "other late model engines".

he must still be having problems i just tried to email him and it came back as a failure domain!

so i went to the site and i couldnt click on the other late model engines and stuff to see what he had to offer!

:D hellllllppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
