kenlwest Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum as I have been building models for many years. Recently, I have been working on my paper modeling skills. Here is my first automotive paper subject; scratch-build (paper, cardboard & wire) of the 1904 Oldsmobile. Sorry for the small pics - I do not yet have a photo account to post to. Ken
Jim Gibbons Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 This is an incredible feat in paper! You definitely have to get a photo account, then post some of the building process photos, especially the chassis/engine detail. It's rare to see any brass era car modeled, and this is one of the icons. Brilliant work.
Bernard Kron Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 The pictures are plenty BIG if you click on them, and then the skill you've shown in building this beautiful model is more than obvious. Bravo! It's superb. I agree with Jim, a photo server account so you can share with us more detail on how you achieved this would be fascinating. Paper modeling has always been a mystery to this die-hard plastic kit modeler! BTW, welcome to the forum!
