Janne Herajärvi Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 (edited) Keeping this simple. Build any Police, Fire or Ambulance model and share it here. No timeline just join in and use your time what you need. Your model can be "what if" Police car or Fire truck, why not rat rod ambulance...its your choice... Have fun. highway Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Sounds interesting, and I like the "No Timeline", maybe I can finish one for once! I don't have an idea for sure yet, but maybe this might be the thing I need to drag one of Trumpter American LaFrance's off the shelf!

Nick Winter Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Well got the Vic taped, then got the black trim spray bombed. Think it looks ok, still need to wet sand the body and do the BMF. Nick
Janne Herajärvi Posted April 16, 2011 Author Posted April 16, 2011 Looking good. Its nice to see someone bulding this Ford becouse im not familiar with that kit and i have wondered should i buy one or not. Maybe some day.

Aaronw Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 With the generous time line I will have to join in eventually. I may be moving in the next month or two which could seriously delay any start. I do have a ton of started projects though, if that is acceptable I might be able to pull something out and finish it up.

Agent G Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) Any one mind if I leap aboard? I just started a Lindbergh Dodge Charger. It'll be a CHP "recruitement" car with fancy markings from Bill Bozo. Janne, thgat's looking good. I cannot remember how many of those I drove over the years. It was my all time fave police car in 31 years. Nick did you see my comments on your CV in the other thread? G Edited April 18, 2011 by AgentG

bandit1 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 i may jump in here if its a no time line cbp! i plan "actually partially started" custom pumper truck using a pumper body from the alf pumper kit, if i can get the right parts! i will also use the louisville shorthauler chassies! the wheels will also come from the pumper kit the body is a resin griffen international harvestor 8100 series conversion kit (long oop from sts model trucks) and im hoping to get the parts needed such as mirrors and glass and etc from a 4300 amt kit! now i have to wait for the next time my stepmother comes up to bring me the resin conversion! i actually got some progress so far if i can find the pics in my photobucket!
Agent G Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I'm all for more fire trucks! I have never built one, but love seeing the finished product. Hey Janne, I forgot to ask, what color blue did you finally use for the NYPD Caprice? It looks right from what I can see. G
