Mooneyzs Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Derrick.... Looking killer my friend. You are getting closer to the end of the tunnel with this one. It is coming together nicely. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see more.
baddgass Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Well Chris you of all people know the work that go in to some of these builds and some time we can get lost. I've ben looking in on your Vega and all I can say is "WOW" and it helps me to come back to this one. So Thanks Brother!
Mooneyzs Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Derrick... I am loving the wheelie bar set up. It looks killer. As you mentioned I am all too familiar and how big detail projects can take some time. And during the project you get to spots where you are burnt out. I have been there recently and haven't been able to get to the bench on this one for over a month or more. I am itching to get back at it though. Thanks for the kind words on my vega build. I can't wait to finish it so I can start my next 1/16th scale build. This build of yours has been a pleasure watching it come together.
comp1839 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 lookin' great derrick!! nice details. keep it up.
baddgass Posted November 3, 2013 Author Posted November 3, 2013 Sorry i'm not the best to tell you all the thing I do , but I put a lot of picss. up . If you have a ? on the things I use, just say and I will tell you all, and I do mend ALL. Thank for looking in.
blackbeard Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 that looks great with the net on the wheel kit
baddgass Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 SO the chutes don't get caught in the wheelie bars.
TedsModeling Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Going back over this build again from the beginning, I appreciate you showing us small incremental steps of setting up and constructing the chassis. Most of the time we see the body and a few photos later it's mounted on the chassis. Thanks. Edited December 9, 2013 by TedsModeling
baddgass Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 Sorry Austin the purpose for the net is to keep arms and hands in side the car in case of a crash.
goodwin3224 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 looking amazing! cant wait to see this finished.
Belair2k Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Fantastic build! One question... where are the wheels and tires from?

mariojr Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 This is an awesome build. Just spent like an hour going over the whole thing. I loved the way you showed how you did the chassis. I never knew how to do one or even start one but now I have an idea. Thanks. Keep up the amazing work
