Hemi Dart Steering Box Question

I'm working on the Revell kit and noticed that the directions don't call for it and there is no hole in the Hemi firewall for installation. I'm assuming this is because there is no room. If so has anyone made modifications to allow it to fit? New to car modeling and this forum. Looks like a lot of people here who know what's up. I've already found much useful information on this kit from past posts, but no mention of this.

I had the same thought when I built mine - not enough room. Won't be able to see much of it anyway.

There simply appears to be no room at all for the steering box on the Hemi Dart. The issue appears to be with the headers and spacing around the frame. I thought about trying to make it fit and decided it wasn't worth the trouble and so I left it off.
