Custom Hearse Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I finally got a 1/16th scale Kenworth, and I was wondering if anyone made a trailer for it. Any help would be appreciated.
highway Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Yes, Monogram also made a 40 foot Freuhauf flatbed trailer for those kits. By the way, don't tell me the KW you got is the blue molded aerodyne, that is one of my "Holy Grail" kits!

monkeyclaw Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Btw; the flatbed trailer kit actually measures out to just under 35 Ft length....I just chopped up TWO of them to make log trailers....Matt

I would probably just use the tandems, and scratchbuild the rest. I wonder how long a 53' foot trailer in scale would be...
TUFF TIN Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 A 53 foot trailer in 1/18th scale would be 35 and 1/3 inches long. That's as close as I can get. Mike

highway Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I wonder how long a 53' foot trailer in scale would be... 39.75 inches.
highway Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 By the way, a van trailer at the standard 13'6' height would be 10.125 inches high in scale.
