Guest Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Steve,'60s Fords typically had the floor pans sprayed with red oxide primer with just a touch of body color overspray. The chassis and components would be a semi gloss black.
george 53 Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Steve, I THINK the 62 T-bird was a UNIBODY design, an doesn't have a separate frame. So i THINK you could actually paint the whole thing body color then add a red oxide primer on the underside. Just an idea.
