heres a mock up , actually you wont even be able to see these once the wheel is on , why do I do this to myself....

Because it's what we do Rom. :) We will know it's there, even if most wont see it.....detail can be an amazing thing.

OUTSTANDING work Romell, and yes, as already pointed out, your skill with the iron is boundless. It's one I have yet to master....

Keep up the fantastic work buddy, you have got my creative juices flowing once more, thanks. B)

Not to take away from the incredible efforts here or criticize, but it is interesting how all that "detail" is added but is not so accurate but it will not be seen anyway... I'm getting dizzy.

I wonder why do all that work if it can't be seen or if it isn't correct?

I mean why not do it accurately or not at all especially if it won't be seen? Or is that why it doesn't need to be correct since it won't be seen?

Just curious, again there is some incredible effort being expended here.

Rommel, Are you sure those Brake / hub assemblies are correct? While doing research for my own build, i found these pics:

Which Clearly show the Rotor bolted to the "ring" behind the Hub, not in front of it.

I know you said that they wouldn't be seen when final assembled, but I know how you are a stickler for details....

Hey Mike they do bolt up to the hub if you look close you can see the bolt holes in the rotors, I just have them sitting there (mocked up) untill im ready to put it all together, I sat it up there and it fell apart I just didnt push it all back together before taking the pic.

xdoublebrakes002.jpgThank you for the concern tho I really apreciate it. B)

Be careful Dr. when you use words like "all" because the majority of my work is accurate as stated above the brakes are just mocked up and will sit correctly once I put it together. And if I have made mistakes in the past and they were pointed out those mistake were also corrected. Im not claiming to be perfect I just try to do a good job at what I do. Which brings me to why add all the detail? Because thats sir is what I do. Thanks for your observation B)

"All" is qualified with "that" not "the" referring only to the new parts you are sharing. I was just comparing the photos of the real thing and the model- seeing the differences and you wrote "actually you wont even be able to see these once the wheel is on , why do I do this to myself".

So I think my question was valid and was not try to pick anything. I hope this does not offend you, it is not my intent, I am just curious with all the hard work you do why not go that little bit more -or maybe no more- and make it match the real car parts? I don't think it is a question of skill. It's the about the same amount of work to do it either way. Just thought more accuracy would be wanted over something else. Cheers!

Rom, as I said before, car is looking killer, I'm in the process of working on 2 P/N (ADRL Pro-Nitrous) cars. 1 is my Yenko SS Nova (thats had some body work started then was put on hold, she's back on the drawing board with a little more body work going to be done to her),it'll have a 4-stage set-up on a Ross Gibson Next Generation Semi Hemi (I have some pics of the body when she was put on hold on my Facebook Photos page),car #2 is a '64 Mercury Comet (from Bandit Resins) P/M,this will also have a 4-stage set-up on a Ross Gibson 815" Ford Nitrous Motor,I have detailing parts from some of the best : Pro-Tech, R.B. Motion, Detail Master, Slixx, Scale Motorsports. Working on the engines now with some time on the bodies. I'll be posting some pics by the end of the month or early next month.

I get it Rom - I was picturing that ring on the outboard side of the hub as the Rotor for some reason, Which is why I asked.

Not a problem Mike I value your input and you always come up with the best photos, so keep doin what you do man! B)

Dave & Tyrone those compliments comming from you guys mean alot. Thanks for your support.

Just wanted to give a small update, in the first pic I have the brake system fitted inside the rear lip of the Rim and in the second the same piece is attached to the rear axle. I hope you enjoy.

xxdoublebrakes001.jpg

I added a brass spacer in between the hub and the rim center so the spacing will be right for the braking device.

xxdoublebrakes002.jpg

oh and heres the corrected brake master clynder

xxdoublebrakes003.jpg

Thanks for joining me see ya again soon....... B)
