jon halt Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 well heres my other mopar uptown build. its the charger version. and overall view of the kit is it is very good, every peice fits perfectly with another. a must have for a shelf build.the only thing i did to mine is added flocking and some tuner decals from an rsx kit just for the amps.but the color is chezoom i think, and it has a ppg clear finish. any questions feel free to ask.
Mr. Moparman Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Question, did the audio equip. come with the kit?
DRG Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Does that model actually come with the doors and trunk opening? What about an engine compartment>
Drake69 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Not to jump his thread, but all the "Mopar Uptown" kits have opening trunks, hoods, lambo doors, large wheels/tires, and audio equipment. I'm thinking about picking up on of the Magnum kits like that. Nice build!!
XJ6 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Very nice build...Great Color fits the car well... Question: what is ppg clear finish that you had used on the car...also what paint did you use on the Body?...Looks Great..

Question: what is ppg clear finish that you had used on the car...also what paint did you use on the Body?...Looks Great.. thank you, the ppg clear coat is automotive painnt. it cost probly aroun 50 bucks for a quart of clear and 2 half pints of hardner to harden the clear coat. they use it in autobody shops. it requires no polishing or rubbing if you put it on smooth. i didnt have to polish my car at all. but i put 2 coats on then wait a day then wetsand it smooth and then put 1-2 smooth coats of it on and it comes out beautiful. nice and clean! very cool how did you do the tint on the rear glass? thanks, the kit came with the backglass and side glass already tinted Great looking build, love the color! thanks
