rocsas2 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 here is a coca cola truck i built for my dad for his birthday since he loves coca cola . i know the decals are messed up on the bed but i built it in 4 hours and wasnt paying attenchin, but i like and he likes it so im fine with it. it was a lindberg 1934 ford coca cola edition kit. i spray painted it and hand brushed some detail. i did my best for 4 hours. please leave comments and tips.
XJ6 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Build looks good to me...i did notice the decals upside down on the wooden sides? But i most like the color you used on the truck.. seems to fit the era of the time..Nice Job
DiscoSpud Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 That is a heck of a lot better than i could do in four hours! Well done mate!
deathskull59 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 hey i always wonder why did ford used a 32 grill and shell. on a 34 pick up any way??? couldint they made a diff. one for it. btw that truck does look nice!!!!
LAone Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 for a 4 hour build it does look good. i like the color as well. only tip i can give you is to pay attention and not to rush your builds.
Harry P. Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 i did my best for 4 hours. please leave comments and tips. My tip: Don't try to build a model in four hours. There is absolutely nothing to gain by racing through a project, and your odds of screwing up go up a lot.
rocsas2 Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 well i only had 4 hours i bought the kit like 10 minutes before i built it and when i finished it was like 11 pm so i wraped it in the morning and he got it right away so i didnt have much time

If I'm to be honest it usually takes me about four hours just to prep a chassis for paint and detailing! Kudos to you mate!
