Lownslow Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 pretty cool but it looks simple enough for me to make in kit form
Draggon Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 That is the car that singlehandedly caused me to love 32's above all other. I think it is just gorgeous! Just might have to get me one of them!
Harry P. Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 pretty cool but it looks simple enough for me to make in kit form What a coincidence... I got the Danbury Mint flyer for this one in the mail just today! Looking at the photos in the flyer, I'd say "good luck" trying to create a model that looks anywhere near as good as what Danbury has done.

It's the prices.
Jon Cole Posted June 18, 2011 Author Posted June 18, 2011 It's not the diecasts I hate. It's the prices. Ah, but they are a work of art! Once you have it, most any Danbury Mint car, in front of you, it is hard not to be impressed. I care more for my DM cars (and Franklin Mint, to a lesser extent) than I do my own built models.
Chuck Most Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 i can live with a close representation at 1/8th the price How's about building a McMullen clone in 1:8th scale?
