semijoe Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 i started on the roll cage for the engine compartment. i went aliitle way on this part also made a small utility box next to the fuel tank.
eviltwincustoms Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Looking good Joe, now refresh my memory. Is this your truck or a customer you are building for?
semijoe Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 Looking good Joe, now refresh my memory. Is this your truck or a customer you are building for? this and the arff truck are mine. i dont think i can ever get back ,what i put into it
semijoe Posted October 28, 2011 Author Posted October 28, 2011 on the passenger side is a spare tire and mini boom i made one from styrene, everything on it works. both pullies, crank and the boom turns outward i need find some kind of string for it with a hook. next is a stand for the tire
eviltwincustoms Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Very nice, I dont have any way of knowing but is that styrene strong enough to hold that bulky tire/Wheel combo? I say a scale winch would have looked pretty cool from RC4WD on there so you could lift it up and down.

semijoe Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 on the driver side top fender, is something that looks like a oil reserve, not sure any way, i made the base for it that mounts to the fender and seperately the tank
eviltwincustoms Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Oh man Joe, you are killing me on the fantastic detailing work! That tire Rack looks perfect right down to the oil reserve tank and mount.... great detail.
semijoe Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 Oh man Joe, you are killing me on the fantastic detailing work! That tire Rack looks perfect right down to the oil reserve tank and mount.... great detail. these picyures i found are pretty detailed. with the engine of to move the tank forward though
semijoe Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 trans cover is in the oil reserves done. i move it to the front of the fender due to the engine exhaust, dont need an explosion also made a tool box
semijoe Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 the tank has a weird shape to it. so what i did was buy some 4 inch pvc piping, cut in half and added 90mm to the center part 450mm long x 210mm wide and 112mm high i figure i show you what i have to do to build this part
semijoe Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 the basic tank is built, hoping to have some primer on by the weekend if any body has a picture of the rear end and top , please post the picture

semijoe Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 woe ! there was alot of sanding, throw some primer on it so i can see it better the a couple of different ways i can continue on the tank. basically you can do any mods to it you want. i think going with the fenders, hoses and a pump box
eviltwincustoms Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) Joe, are you are sealing this off to hold water or is there something that will be going down inside of this tank? Edited November 13, 2011 by eviltwincustoms
