GeeBee Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I have only ever seen photo's of this car in the classic car magazine's I have, but you have the shape of it spot on, brilliant work, and to scratch build it in such a short time, I take more time just building a kit out of the box, and the scratch build the engine and getting it to look spot on, well your talent is amazing ....
matador88 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 (edited) please note this car is NOT soviet / russian! tatra is company from czech republic. during production of this vehicle it was czechoslovakian company. http://en.wikipedia....Tatra_(company) Edited August 11, 2011 by matador88
dimaxion Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I like this excellent build . I don't care where the Manufactuer is or was located . In 1970 , Czechoslovakain Republic was behind the Iron Curtain . Tarta is one of the Earliest Car Makers . Still in business I may add . I like all forms of different cars . If it was a resin , I am in for one . Thank you for sharing this just right creation .
Harry P. Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Tarta is one of the Earliest Car Makers . Still in business I may add . But not in the car business. They stopped producing cars in 1999, today they only produce trucks.
charlie8575 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Kenn, congratulations on a well-deserved award and on a self-published book. You've earned the success you have with this model. Charlie Larkin
matador88 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 But not in the car business. They stopped producing cars in 1999, today they only produce trucks. nice to see someone from other side of planet knows that details. i just add that even T603 was replaced by T613 earlier i was born i know T603 from streets. and it was not "normal" cas (T613 is the same). you couldnt buy it. it was made for politicians and directors of comapnies and factories like luxury car.
