BOSWELL891 Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 I have always had a hard time with glueing in windows so how does everyone else put there windows in and what glue do you use?
W-409 Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 So you are using the kit windows, not windows made from acetate? I've just used Eri Keeper, but maybe you don't have it in the USA. But I like glue, which dries clear, so if there comes some glue to window, it doesn't matter too much, because it dries clear, and no one can see it. Some of you guys, have used Cristal Clear, or something like that, from Microscale. Also some use normal clear for gluing windows, and other clear molded pieces... Hope This Helps...
crazyjim Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Fit the galss inside; use blue painters tape to hold from the outside; glue inside with Testors glue for clear parts; remove tape after 60 minutes.
High octane Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 I have been using 5 minute epoxy to glue in glass or acetate and it works very well for me and has a stong bond as well as dries clear.
