davyou5 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) A long time family friend owns a 68' Buick Skylark Four door Sedan and entered it into a car show. I was wondering if anyone knew of a kit or a resin kit of that car.. Doing a search online I popped up on another forum where some guys were talking about a resin kit but never stated who made it... charlie8575 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Converting Perry's GS coupe to a sedan will be a chore. The roofline is a good bit different, and perhaps the most important issue- the 4-doors and wagons had a longer wheelbase and overall length (112" vs. 116", Vista Cruisers, Sport Wagons and I believe El Caminos, used 120" stretches.) This will be a tough order to do, but if you're ambitious, you might be able to pull it off. Charlie Larkin
george 53 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I would imagine FINDING a 68 Skylark would be the first hurdle. I didn't know about Perry's 68, but R&R has one too. Like ALL R&R kits, it IS doable, but not without some effort. It does build up nicely though, it just doesn't FALL together like the better castings do, but it IS workable.
