use a clear desplay case ....take the bottom half.. attach a good mirror to the base and back so top will still go on ....make sure the bottom of the model is up to the look ....its diff and gives a new look to your kit ...note a cherry wood bottom realy looks good but it cost more..i did this to one of my 18 wheelers looked realy good...note glue your tires down(thats me how i do it)... or if wire them down you will have to pay glass shop to cut very small holes for the wire

note glue your tires down...

:rolleyes::D:lol:;)

What exactly are happening to your models on display that you need to glue your wheels to the base? In the unlikely event that something knocks the case over all that's going to do is rip the suspension off the bottom of the model and/or spray glass all over the place. You can also kiss the ability to show the model at anything other than an NNL type of show goodbye.

I don't think it's a good idea to glue the tires down.

I have seen a setup where the builder cuts small wedges of wood, paints them flat black, and then glues them to the base, wedging them to the front and rear wheels so that they act as wheel chocks.

Unless your going to play with them you could just glue one of the wheels to the axle so it won't roll.....or both rear wheels to simulate the parking brake being applied :blink:
