BOSWELL891 Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Here is a 57 Chevy 150 i finished this week for a contest in Louisville. This is the first model i have ever weathered i used the hairspray technique. I built the car the style to where the body and frame were rusty and engine bay too but the interior and chrome were nice. I had alot of fun building this and i think it turned out great. All comments welcome.
BOSWELL891 Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 Well i changed my mind and decided to make the chrome rusty and i like it better
charlie8575 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Mk. II is definitely the better way to go. Very nice job on this. Charlie Larkin
Chuck Most Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Well, one thing I can't say is 'clean build'. Love it though!
rhs856 Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 That chrome looks much better now! What did you do to the windows, scuff them with sandpaper? They look good.
BOSWELL891 Posted August 1, 2011 Author Posted August 1, 2011 yes i scuffed them once or twice with 320 grit sandpaper i think it was or maybe 1000 dont remember haha
