need some assistance with referencing parts

I'm working on a revell 62 impala. I was on model car garage looking for photo etch sets for the car, but they only list a photo etch set for the AMT kit.

are these photo etch kits pretty much interchangeable, or has anybody put the AMT PE on a revell kit?

i honestly wouldn't THINK they'd be much of an issue?

Tough to tell- it would be a matter of how close the two kits are. They are both 1:25 scale, but being they were tooled by two different companies a decade and a half apart, using the PE stuff meant for the AMT kit on the Revell may or may not be a direct fit. They could be perfect fits or they could be a bit off.

The grills are not the same size on the kits - so the photo etch grill for the AMT kit won't fit the revell grill. The other parts such as the scripts and emblems should work, but the Revell kit supplies both decals and chrome parts which actually work fairly well. The other PE parts, such as interior details, also replicate parts that are already in place and well represented on the Revell kit - I would say the PE set is not really worth it for the Revell kit.
