Junkman Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 We need more pictures Pictures of what doesn't exist?
Dr. Cranky Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I'm currently building (and painting) a 76 Chevy Caprice and I can see why these kits from the 70s are popular. They build into these nice big boats that provide a wonderful canvas for paint!
Junkman Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Chaps, I just noticed the noticeable absence of a total 70s icon. Is there a particular reason why nobody mentioned the Boattail Riviera yet?
charlie8575 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 I think there was a plastic 1971-'73 Riviera made originally. I know that R&R offers a resin-cast one, although whose it's based off of I have no idea. A nice modern kit would be welcomed. Or a resin body made to fit AMT's lovely '66, as they were the same basic underpinnings. All one would need is a 455 in 1/25 scale, or have the 455 in 1/24 from the Monogram GSX suffice.
