What scale is the Revell Peterbuilt fire truck kit #7529 ?

Hi Guys...The Revell Peterbuilt fire truck kit #7529 says its a 1/25th scale kit but it is not...much bigger if fact so what scale is it??? 1/16th?,1/18th? I recently found got one but build the 1/25th and 1/24th scale kits. Thanks. Mark

It is advertised as 1/25th and frankly, I don't see it as being anything else. Mine looks 1/25th to me, and its parts and components are consistent with similar 1/25th Petes in my possession.

there close too 25 scale,I think when they convert from stander too metric in Germany they get just a tad off,some parts are 25 some off by the thickness of the plastic. Still good kits,

All of the Revell of Germany (formerly Revell Los Angeles) Peterbilts are 1/25th scale, as is it car hauler, flatbed, gravel trailer and tanker trailer. The Kenworth W900, W900 wrecker, T600 and K100 are also 1/25th. The Revell of Germany Ford LTL, Aeromax, Peterbilt 377 are all rebadged Italeri 1/24th scale kits.

Thanks for the information guys...it just looks much larger to me the cab is almost as wide as a COE truck but I could be wrong too? I am not very familiar with the Revell truck kits usually build the AMTs. Thanks again guys. Mark

You forgot the Revell Mercedes Benz 1628S "Trucks of the World" series. it is also 1/25th scale. Not an Italeri re-badge.

The subject was rather obscure for North American truck fans although that Mercedes model was sold in the US and Canada and was used by several fleets. To my knowledge Volvo did not import any f12s to North America. The original 1/25th scale Revell "Trucks of the World" series were:

7407 - Mercedes Benz 1628s

7407 - Volvo F12 Globetrotter

7410 - Peterbilt 359

7413 - Kenworth K100 VIT
