I wonder what the chances are of them rereleasing the old Slot/Crubside Kits like the Chaparral 2A, Elva McLaren, Honker and McKee etc?????

It all depends on how well this first round of releases does.

Oh I understand but they could have done a Swatch Watch kind of release. Buy the Full Slot Kit and here's X# of optional Bodies you can put on it with the advantage of hitting 2 markets. As it is they are releasing Slot Cars period, but by repopping the Slot/Curbside Kits they also garner sales to the Static Kit builders.

We have a Commercial Track here in Jacksonville with a thriveing Racing schedual. They run Both 1:24th and 1:32nd races. The group that races at the track doesn't like 1:24 Hardbody so all 1:24th racing is with Lexan Bodied Cars, We do run Hardbodies in 1:32.

The Classes ran are:

In 1:24

Wed night JK GTIs Must run a JK body and Hawk Motor, Flexi Chassis mostl Jk Cheetahs

Sat Night

NASCAR Flexi Chassis with either a Falcon, sealed 16D, Or FLA State Series 16D

GTP Flexi Chassis, Super 16D

Group F Grp 12 marked Chassis and Hawk motor Wing Car with Air Controls

JK Modifieds as they come from the Factory Falcos are Geared 12-35, Hawks 12-36

I also run orginized 1:32 Races on My Home Track 2 Sundays a month. The AMT cars look interesting!

CHEERS!
