For me generally no. If it's thin enough to come out of the can through the spray nozzle, it's thin enough to airbrush.

The only exception is if I have some left over, and it's been sitting in the jar awhile, then I'll add some thinner to it to minimize any drama.

I have thinned ModelMasters lacquers a bit....a couple of drops of thinner. As Bill said it usually sprays well without.

Not usually, it's usually thin enough to spray as it is, I only add thinners if it has been sitting in a bottle for a while and the paint has thickened a bit over time.
