Here's the latest from the tank factory. Tamiya's old King Tiger, wearing the markings of sPzAbt 503, or Heavy Tank Battalion 503.

All the zimmerit, or texture, on the sides is Eduard PE affixed with Gator Glue. Tamiya paint thinned with Home Despot generic medium drying laquer thinner.

Zimmerit was a anti magnetic concrete like coating which prevented magnetic mines from sticking. Not like you'd want to run up to this beast to blow it up.............

VERY nice job! The zimmerit is so in scale I couldn't even see it till I got to the close up of the rear of it! VERY nice paint on it too! I've always enjoyed a nicely built Military model. This is one! TANKS!!!
