mad_dr
This looks great! I'm looking forward to seeing some more shots of the progress since the last post. I'd love to make a diorama but I live in such a tiny house the wife would kill me if I did! She just about tolerates the kit I have lying around the place as it is, bless her. GTMust
Thanks Andy. I'm still waiting for the balcony railings to complete the buildings. Hope they didn't get lost in the mail! Meanwhile, I've been working on the English pub scene dio. As an ex-Brit from Essex (came to Canada in 1966), it has special meaning for me. Model Junkyard
Hi Tony, your work is great! Great detail on the windows, roof cover, etc. That's what make a diorama look great, the details! Congrats! I also want to build a far west town some day, but 1/25 scale. Lot's of ideas, not enough time!!
GTMust
Thanks for your comments Seb. I really appreciate it. Tony
bbowser
think you are probably correct. The black and white seems to be the norm of that time period. I like it !!! Sepia tone is a process of tinting a B/W photo for effect. Mostly from the 19th century and newer stuff made to look older (you and the little miss as a sheriff at the fair?). Great dio by the way! GTMust
I decided to extend the Thomasville street scene and have started on a small building, destined to become a Wells Fargo office. Originally built for the Overland Stage, it now caters to more modern needs as well.
