I really hate to break this to you because you've done such great work on that engine otherwise, but . . . .

What you've got there is two different injector set ups on the one engine. Those two box like things under your bug catcher is an Enderle injector with it's own set of butterflys. Then you've got the more typical "bug catcher" style injector on top of that.

Wouldn't work. You need to use just one or the other.

The "bug catcher" could be used as it is, or if you use the Enderle, then you just need a plain scoop for it.

Sorry, just trying to help. :(

some updates. i started painting the body panels, although i did have a slight problem with one of them when taking off the masking tape. but while the paint is curing, i got on with making the safety harness from Pro-Tech via Modelexpress along with the photo-etched throttle linkage. the belts are made from zinc oxide tape and painted red, not quite finished yet. as it happens, i modified the Enderle Injector so it could the hat. :-)

more updates....got the paint scheme sorted with the transfers (decals) in place. the dark pearl blue was enhanced with crystal blue, which is a metalflake flip flop colour that changes to purple. the red is also enhanced with a metalflake red, both of which echo the blue and red scheme. next, clear coat.

i now have the paint polished with some of the panels in place. i also turned out a fire extinguisher with scratchbuilt pewter mounts. this was to replace the out of shape kit version. i bought a base made from MDF, for the dragster to sit on. i will make a cover for it from sheet perspex.

can't get pics bigger, i'm on a restriction with my infernalnet, and the files in my bigger camera are too large to send via e-mail. :-(

just a few little jobs left on this. made a new steering wheel from 1mm sheet aluminium. attatched photo etched screws to the cockpit cover, (which refuses to sit properly :-( might investigate that later.). turned out a pair of tyre valves for the rear rims and a pair of retainers for the front wheels.
