skulls Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) ]Just though I would post some pics of an old "work in progress" I still have alot of detail work to do on both tractor and trailer. Also I have the stock mufflers with and 7" 45 slash cut pipes leading out of them (pics to follow of those) and well more work to be done on the full fenders which i attempted to make out of plastic pipe couplings I saw at Home depot they were like a buck each so I though I would try it out for the heck of it. The main reason why I am posting these pics is because I am looking for suggestion, ideas any of the above to be creative with this truck so I am finally complete it and start on another! haha Edited September 10, 2011 by skulls
mackinac359 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Can you repost your photos as .jpg and larger? It is difficult to see the model in the small photos. Tim
skulls Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 There we go, I cant seem to find a way to post them all up cuz the acutal size is pretty darn big and they wont let me post more than one
mackinac359 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Hmmmm. Are you uploading the image to a host service ?
skulls Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 Hmmmm. Are you uploading the image to a host service ? Dunno, unfortunatly I dont do well with computers, but I am attaching them through a file on my pc as a J-peg and it seems to be large because they are only allowing me a max of 1.98mb on this post for some reason
BigBad Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 (edited) James, just reduce your pictures by half using the old "paint" program you have on your computer first. It dramatically reduces the file size, retain a lot of definition and you'll be able to post them directly here. Your 377 seems nice! Don't let us out in the cold without telling or showing how this is going to turn out, alright! Keep at it and for the pictures, try "Paint". once in that program, in the menu at the top of the screen use "image" then under that menu, "stretch" and in the pop-up box, in the stretch section you will see two rectangles with 100%. Change these numbers to 50% (scale down equally in the vertical and horizontal box). Try 50% for both from the full size picture at first and smaller if it's reasonable. Then save the new size picture under another name, just in case. Then you can upload to this site by using "reply to this topic" And click on the "use Full editor" box. There is an "Attach Files" box at the bottom of the text box (where you write your text), upload your pictures with Attach files, picture by picture with that feature. I am just trying to make it as easy as I can, trying not to overlook anything, I know I'm not talking to babies here, ok! LOL! It works for me! and I think we are here to help each other, aren't we? BigBad Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 (edited) Seems to work now! I just clicked on the picture you have in your original post and it pops up to a bigger much clearer picture. That's the way! Edited September 10, 2011 by Z06Bob
mackinac359 Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 You got it. Since you're going for a custom look, judging by the fenders, I think you're on the right path. Will the fenders be painted to match the cab or the chassis? I'm thinking matching the cab, unless there will be the chassis color on the cab someplace? Tim

Tim I was thinking for doing the fenders body color with a chassis color type insert along the middle, but again it will be a guess and check on that I suppose, and thank you again with all the help and support on here!
