krazyglu Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 This is another old kit that I decided to piece back together and save. It was the Jaccs Accord and no way could I have handled the decals. I guess I decided to put the ones on I could and left it at that All comments welcome
mookie Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I want this kit so bad but when I find it I never have the money to get it. Now I want it even more. Good job on it.
Diesel Gypsy Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Its not really my thing but I can appreciate good modelling when I see it. Nice job & a cool ride.

krazyglu Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Thanks guys and I definitely thank you for your comments even if its not particularly your thing. I remember It being a good kit other than the front suspension which sat the front up to high. Not a major problem to fix. The decals are what made the Jaccs car and they covered 98% of the body as most road cars do. I wish I could have got the decals on ,but maybe I will find one and have another go in the future. Oh yes I also recall this being the first car I ever air brushed....no clear just model master competition orange...ha ha silly kids. Thanks again guys
Dominik Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 I love this accords! Specially the Racer because my brother had them built far years ago. Looks like a racer in private hands. Clean built. The colour you've choosed works good with the white rims but not soo good with the "JACCS"-Decals. Have you made a clear coat on it for finish?
krazyglu Posted October 1, 2011 Author Posted October 1, 2011 Thanks Dominik no this car has no clear coat at all....just model master competition orange from a testors single action air brush about six or so years ago. The original colors of the model were a much brighter orange, white, bright green and the darker Jaccs green. If the models decals were correctly applied it would look way different and way better, but hey its still cool. You nailed it Dominik on the private team......sometimes I make up stories to go along with my model kits and this was a small town speed shop that bought a ex high budget circuit car that was becoming slightly out dated for the pro rankings. The shop bought it....actually traded fab/welding work for most of it. They put a power plant in and did some cleaning/updating to go race in various scca events
