MPC 1971 GTO Street Funny?

Does anybody remember this model from the 70's(I think). I built this model then, but it is long gone now. I would like to build this model again. If I was able to find one, is it going to be a high dollar(above $50) or reasonable(below $50). I remember when MPC used to be located in Mount Clemens,MI, about 15 miles from my house. Ah! Those were the days! Thanks!

Maybe. I built a 71 GTO annual when it was new, and I remember an optional front straight axle and raised rear suspension. The front axle had coil overs that were made to glue into the holes for the metal wire axles, and had chrome 4-links that went back and glued to the side of the frame. A roll bar, racing seats, slicks and a supercharger were pretty standard parts in all the 3 in 1 kits back then and made the rest of the "funny car' option.

Is this the one you remember?

I had that one! It was one of my favorite models. Unfortunately almost all of it is gone now, I just have the blue tinted windows, zoomie exhaust, and hood left. Threres one on ePay right now, at 42 bucks. It will surely go for a lot more than that.

Hey thanks "Dragon", I just was looking there on Saturday, and didn't see it then. Wow! $42.00 already, I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't go too much higher! I think I paid about $4.00 for mine, that is long gone now. Thanks everyone for the resposnes!
