i want to build a 1/8 scale drg car and cant find a wedsite that sells anything so please help me out guys me and my son really would like to build one and sugestions would help alot!! :D :D

The only 1/8th scale Camaro was made by Monogram and it is OOP and expensive.Some one on this forum has scratch built a 1969,but I don't think that's available for sale.

Yeah, not a whole lot available (as far as I'm aware) just at this time. :( But that may change in the future..... ;)

Check out Tim's stuff here @ TDR.....it will whet your apatite for now, and give you ideas of what you may need to buy later.

There have been a few decent model kits over the years which lend themselves easily to building a drag version. The later year model Camaro

Mike mentioned is probably the most suited, but yes....not the easiest or cheapest to find.

You may want to contact that Micro Nitro guy. I have heard rumor that he will do custom work. I have some of his wheels that he sells and they are NICE

Dalton, if you're looking for an early Willys or Anglia body, TDR has both, they are cast in fiberglass and very accurate as far as scale goes. They also have an number of highly detail engines, blowers, carbs etc. Wheels are also available. Contact them for more info.

Well for once the rumors were correct :) Do you make any kind of tire or machine tires out of something????? Resin???

camaro's are available on ebay if you hunt around. check the model shows and such. you can get a new one for $150 on up. if you get one cheaper ya done good. here is a place you can go for 1/8 parts:

there are other places. you just have to hunt around. what kind of drag car is it you're interested in building? be preparred for ALOT of scratch building depending on what your goals are.
